Dr. Charles Brenner has been named head of the Department of Biochemistry in The University of Iowa's Carver College of Medicine. The appointment begins July 1. Dr. Brenner is currently professor of genetics and of biochemistry at Dartmouth Medical School, scientific director of the Comprehensive Thoracic Oncology Program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and associate director for basic sciences at Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Lebanon, N.H.
